Anne Pitkin

anne_pitkinAnne’s work has appeared in Poetry, Prairie Schooner, Rattle, Alaska Quarterly Review, New England Review and Ploughshares, among others, as well as in several anthologies. She has published 3 books of poetry: a chapbook, Notes for Continuing the Performance and a full-length collection, Yellow, published by Arrowood Books and, in March of this year, Winter Arguments, published by Ahadada Books. She was an editor of Fine Madness, an international poetry magazine produced in Seattle for 25 years. Anne has worked as an English instructor at a community college and as a psychotherapist. When she’s not writing, Anne plays jazz piano with friends.
