kim_powersKim Powers is the author of memoir The History of Swimming, a Barnes & Noble “Discover” Book and Lambda Literary Award finalist for Best Memoir of the Year, and the critically acclaimed novel Capote in Kansas: A Ghost Story. He is also an Emmy and Peabody Award winner for his writing on for Good Morning America, and is currently the senior writer for ABC’s 20/20 and What Would You Do? He wrote the screenplay for the festival-favorite indie film Finding North, and is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama.
