Merrill Black

merrill_blackMerrill Black, a curriculum consultant who teaches at the CUNY School of Professional Studies, is working on a memoir and sings in a blues band. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, New York Press, and Underwire Magazine and in the anthology Autobiographical Writing Across the Disciplines, published by Duke University Press. She graduated from Marlboro College in Vermont in American Studies, received an MA in Creative Nonfiction from the University of New Hampshire, and was a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellow in Nonfiction in 2003.
