Nancy Jainchill is a practicing psychologist, residing and working in Woodstock, NY and New York City, with her husband and two dogs. She recently received an MFA from the Bennington College Writing Seminars program, and is at work on a memoir, a chapter of which is included in the anthology, Every Father’s Daughter, edited by Margaret McMullan, with an introduction by Phillip Lopate. Nancy has also published extensively in the field of adolescent drug treatment research, and edited and was a contributor to the volume, Understanding and Treating Adolescent Substance Use Disorders (2012). Her other publications include an article on the Freedom Riders—Fifty Years Later (Woodstock Times, 2011). She also writes a blog for the Andrew Goodman Foundation on issues of civil rights, social justice, Andy’s story, and arts and the media related to these areas.
