British by birth, raised in Australia, Sally-Ann Hard started writing poetry about a dozen years ago after not having written for twenty-five years.
Her most recent chapbook, Alphabet of a Nomad will be published by Finishing Line Press in March 2014; Walk into Water was published by Medusa’s Laugh Press in 2007. Sally-Ann’s other work has appeared in The Gwendolyn Brooks Journal of Black Thought & Literature; Tidal Basin Review (Pushcart Prize nomination); Turning Wheel, a Buddhist journal; The Roswell Literary Review; The Frost Place Anthology; Tamarind; The John Jay Journal; and Salamander. She has her own company, providing executive search services to nonprofit organizations around the country, and lives in Harlem, New York.
